Importing a car from a wholesale auction in the USA requires dealer access, the authority to act on behalf of the buyer and efficient logistics and customs handling. That is why we separate these roles in a way that is transparent for the client.
Power of attorney to act
Acting under the power of attorney granted, the contractor purchases the car, makes payment in the USA and assembles the export documents — always within the price cap agreed with you.
NEXTCAR-USA — the contractor
NEXTCAR-USA, the company that owns the AUTOMAX brand, handles the operational side of the entire process: the wholesale purchase, payments, ocean transport, customs clearance and delivery of the vehicle to Poland.

VIN history analysis before purchase
Every vehicle has a unique 17-character VIN. It is the key by which we verify the car's past before we decide to buy on your behalf.
Carfax and AutoCheck
Vehicle history reports reveal accidents, repairs, the number of owners and odometer readings. AutoCheck additionally scores the car against vehicles in the same category.
NMVTIS and title brands
The government NMVTIS database shows title brands — salvage, rebuilt, junk or flood. This is a key signal about the damage history and the actual legal status of the vehicle.
MMR valuation and condition grade
The Manheim Market Report gives the market value of the model, while the auction Condition Grade describes the car's condition. Together they let us judge whether the price is fair.

AUTOMAX is not the seller of the vehicle in the sense of a consignment dealer. The platform presents listings integrated with the American Manheim auction databases, while the actual purchase, payment in the USA and import are carried out under a power of attorney by NEXTCAR-USA, the company that owns the AUTOMAX brand. We therefore operate as a broker: we acquire and import the vehicle for and in the interest of the client, rather than selling a car from our own stock.
To buy a car at a wholesale Manheim auction, dealer access and the authority to act on behalf of the buyer are required. The client grants the contractor a power of attorney under which it purchases the vehicle, makes payment in the USA and assembles the export documents. The scope of authorization, the price cap and the terms are agreed before proceeding, so that the client keeps control of the budget.
Every vehicle is identified by its 17-character VIN. As part of our due diligence we analyze history reports (Carfax, AutoCheck) and data from the government NMVTIS database, which reveals title brands such as salvage, rebuilt, junk or flood. We also check the MMR market valuation (Manheim Market Report) and the auction condition grade. This makes it possible to assess the risk and the real value of the car before purchase.
The broker is responsible for the diligent and careful performance of the contracted activities: presenting the listing in accordance with source data, acting within the power of attorney, arranging the purchase, logistics and customs clearance, and providing a transparent settlement of costs. The broker is not, however, the manufacturer of the vehicle and does not guarantee that it will be free of defects or possess features that do not follow from the auction data and reports. The condition of a used car is always assessed on the basis of the available documentation and the auction description.
The settlement is transparent and consists of the purchase price of the vehicle plus service costs known in advance (auction fees, transport, customs clearance) and the broker's commission. We present the cost structure before we proceed, and you can make a preliminary estimate of the total in the Import Calculator. This way, even before the purchase, you know the expected final cost of the car in Poland.
Yes, and it is standard in our model. Before we proceed you set a maximum price within which the contractor acts under the power of attorney. If the price exceeds the agreed cap, the car is not purchased above your budget. This keeps the brokerage predictable and gives you full control over your spending.
