Anatomy of a Vehicle Listing

Anatomy of a Listing, Step by Step

Every vehicle listing is built on the same clear layout. This lets you quickly find the information that matters most to your decision.

1

Buy Now Price

The fixed, wholesale price of the vehicle on the exchange. It's the basis for the import calculator — it never rises through bidding or a bidding war.

2

AutoGrade Score

A single condition score from 1.0 to 5.0 assigned by the inspector. It lets you gauge a car's condition at a glance.

3

Condition Report (CR)

An itemized list of the technician's notes: tire wear, minor scratches, windshield chips. Complete honesty, no embellishment.

4

Gallery and 360° views

A complete set of authentic photos of the specific vehicle, often with the ability to view it all the way around and zoom in on details.

5

VIN

The identifier needed to check history in Carfax and AutoCheck. Revealed after registering a free account.

6

Import Calculator

Dynamically adds the exchange's fee, transport in the USA, ocean freight, duty, VAT, and the broker's fixed commission — with no hidden fees.

How to Read the Condition Rating

The AutoGrade Scale in Practice

AutoGrade is the language the wholesale market uses to describe a vehicle's condition. Learn what each range means so you can accurately assess every car.

Rules of Fair Presentation

What Our Standards Are Built On

The way we present listings is no accident. Behind it stand four firm principles that protect your decision and the platform's legal compliance.

The Presentation Is for Information Only

AUTOMAX is a presentation layer that aggregates listings from the Manheim wholesale exchange. The vehicles shown remain the property of wholesale suppliers, banks, or dealers in the USA until their final purchase, which is carried out by our licensed broker. The parameters and ratings come from the auction source and are for reference only.

Questions About Listings

Frequently asked questions

We explain what we show in vehicle listings and why, and how to interpret the data presented.

The Buy Now price is the fixed, wholesale price of the vehicle on the exchange and is not subject to bidding. The full import cost (the exchange's fee, logistics, duty and VAT, the broker's commission) is calculated transparently by the integrated calculator, so you know the total amount before placing your order.
AutoGrade is a numerical condition score from 1.0 to 5.0 assigned by an independent inspector at the exchange. The higher the value, the better the car's mechanical and cosmetic condition. Vehicles rated above 4.0 are clean and show minimal signs of use.
VINs, MMR valuations, and auction identifiers are masked from guests in order to protect the wholesale B2B environment and to comply with the terms of service of the American platforms. Full access is granted to verified users planning a purchase — registration is free and carries no obligation.
Yes. All photos and 360° views come directly from the Manheim auction documentation and show the specific, physical vehicle — not catalog images. We don't retouch or hide visible damage; you'll find the full list of flaws in the Condition Report.
Copart and IAAI are largely platforms for accident-damaged vehicles with Salvage titles. Manheim is the largest exchange for accident-free, off-lease, and fleet cars with Clean Title status and a detailed inspector report, which significantly reduces the risk of hidden defects.
